Should we go on?

I luv my boyfriend alot, but now I'm startin to change my mind. See, a few nights ago he "thought" it was ok to hit me. And now that I left, he-like-follows me everywhere! He says he's sorry, and I'll take him back, but he'll hit me again. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. He's really hott, and he's got a sense of humor, but he hurts me by countless things ( cheatings, hits, getting on my nerves, and stuff) I still luv him for all the good things about him, but I don't know what to do. ( he still follows me)
