Ok so my Dad is making me go to the doctors because he thinks there is something wrong with my ear?

Ok so my industrial piercing is not exactly new, I got it October 13, and not the holes but the part in the middle it touches sort got a cut on it. I looked at things about it and I realized it was because I wasn't turning it enough. I am scared he'll make me get rid of it and and hurt me.
