What happened to him and his parents during Nazi, Ukraine?
If he was Jewish, he would have been sent to a concentration or death camp with his family. Since he was a baby at that time, I don't think he was Jewish because he would have been killed for not being of use to them (babies can't work, and since you didn't mention if he was a twin they really would have had no driving need to keep him), since he he just turned 67, obviously he his still alive, and that did not occur. But, if he is Jewish, and somehow his family managed to hide from the Nazis his life would have been extremely limited, and comprised of trying not to be seen, heard, or recognized, and living in constant fear. If he was a non-Jew, he would have had to deal with the Nazi occupation i.e Nazi soldiers present, Nazi rules, Nazi restrictions, and the food and supply shortages wars and occupations bring. Not to mention having to live with the fact their country had fallen to another by force.
