What's the easiest way to get from Stoke on Trent to Manchester International?

Get a train to Manchester Picadilly and then a train from there to the Airport - if your flight is 9am you need to be there 2-3 hours before so check there is a train that early as you'll need to leave stoke train station around 4:30 to 5am I would think. If there's no train that early your stuffed as �30 won't get you anywhere near in a cab!
