Legalities of selling livestock?

My father told me he was going to sell a cow that belonged to me as it was misbehaving, then he told me he changed his mind as she was behaving better. The next thing I know my cow has already been sold without my consent or even consultation and I got a terrible terrible price for it, plus I have to pay commission and transport costs. I dont think I should have to pay the commission and transport, as I didnt agree to selling the cow. What is my position in this situation? Do you think this is fair?
