What gasoline type is required for a 2008 infiniti G37 coupe?

I am researching the gasoline type for my new G37 coupe. Sources online refer drivers to the manual, which will state which gas is "recommended" versus "required." The G37 manual recs premium unleaded; however, places online have it as required. Any owner/expert opinion would be more than welcome. Thanks
