Help me! I'm pre-med but I'm thinking about changing to law!?
I'm nearing the end of freshman year at college as a biochem major, but I'm reconsidering my major. I've been pre-med for a while b/c I wanted to be a Dr. As much as I would enjoy being a Dr, I feel like the path to getting there is absolute misery (all of the studying involved, memorization, all for stuff like ecology--which i HATE!!--I mean, I'm fine with human anatomy but I can't stand studying the other stuff in between). I've been taking a civil rights English cl and a cl on poverty, and I'm seriously reconsidering my major and future career. I love all of the stuff we do in cl and I feel pionate about it! Only prob is I'm not a fantastic writer : ( which is why I gave up being a lawyer long ago (I wanted to study law when I was 14). If I do change my career direction, what do I need to do? Can some law students/pre-law students give me their opinions? Does it make me a better applicant if I'm applying with science courses in addition to writing courses?
